What is Coaching?

 Coaches:
  • collaborate with clients to identify, establish and achieve personal, professional, career and business goals.
  • motivate clients to consistently take more actions (ie. do more) than they would on their own.
  • assist clients to move forward and accomplish results more quickly.
  • guide, support and encourage clients so that they perform at their full potential.
  • provide structure to allow the client to “go for” their goals.
  • facilitate clients in creating a personal and professional life they really want.

    I see coaching as a partnership with someone who wants to create a really great life with all the aspects that they love included in it. Basically, this means more of what you want and less of what you don’t want.

People who choose coaching are deciding to grow and become the best they can be. They are committing to taking control of their life and their future. Rather than let destiny just happen people are determining their own destiny.

This means that they grow faster and easier with a much better understanding of who they are and what values are important to them.
When people decide to shape their own future they are excited about life and the potential it holds. They realise that with their one life they want to spend more time on themselves (doing what they enjoy) and be with people they love and care for. They want more freedom to enjoy “being” and often more money. Most people want to succeed, achieve and be happy.

THIS IS WHERE A COACH COMES IN

The coach will work best with people who have made a conscious decision to change so that they can have a life they REALLY want. With coaching you may not get it “all” but you will get what matters most to you. In coaching you are working with people as a team and this dramatically increases success.

The benefits of coaching include accelerated progress coupled with reduced stress. This leads to accomplishing much more, especially with the aid of another person’s subjective perspective and total support.
